Development – Framework

Months ago I decided to develop a custom framework that I could use to build my sites on top of. Something that would save me time and allow me to avoid re-writing the same code at the start of every site. While this was a success, and is being used on multiple sites, I now feel that I need to go back to the drawing board and think about it again. Improvements need to be made to allow me to create more ‘rich’ interfaces, technology like AJAX aids with this a lot. The existing code started simple, and has grown over the time I’ve been writing it, so now its time to go back to the drawing board. Now, I know there are lots of existing frameworks out there that I could use, but where is the fun in that? 😀
