Windows 8 Logo Revelead

For the first time since very early versions of Windows, the new logo for Windows is actually closer to an actual Window! Gone is the wavey flag effect and instead we have a simple, blue Window.

So far Windows 8 is builing to change how users use their computers, the new Metro interface being something more suited to tablet and touchy style computing rather than a traditional keyboard and mouse setup. This interface isn’t for everyone, you will still be able to use things more as you were used to but a lot of basic windows tools will be getting the Ribbon treatment (the interface brought in with Office 2007).

Windows 8 should be released later this year, along with IE10 for Windows 7.
